General Summary

Provide support to the Department of Computer Science.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide support to the Department of Computer Science.
• This includes tutoring in the Computer Science tutoring lab and other duties supporting the mission of Eastern Michigan University.
• Responsible for tutoring, working with students on learning strategies, and other activities supporting student learning in the Department of Computer Science.

Minimum Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree is required.
• Application to (or enrollment in) the M.S. in Computer Science program is required.
• Enrollment in at least 6 graduate credits during the Winter 2026 semester in the Department of Computer Science is required.
• Ability to work 10 hours per week (50% graduate assistantship) or 20 hours per week (100% graduate assistantship) is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Tutoring experience is helpful.
