General Summary
Responsible for planning and administering the assessment, instructional and operational activities, programs, and services of the Math Pathways Support Program. May include teaching courses in the Quantitative Reasoning Math Pathway and the Algebra Math Pathway.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications:
Depth and breadth of discipline-specific content knowledge, which is typically acquired by a Masters Degree or higher in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related field is required.
Demonstrated knowledge and skills in math pathways support program development and administration typically acquired through at least four years progressively more responsible experience in college-level math pathways support programs is necessary.
Excellent oral and written communication skills are necessary.
Experience using technology in instruction, communication, and student support is essential.
Preferred Qualifications:
Supervisory experience is desirable.
Experience in grant writing and implementation is desirable.
History of active participation in programs for student success and persistence is required and history of participation in relevant professional organizations and conferences is desirable.
